Defending the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream InitiativeÌý(Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream) is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ (Â鶹Æƽâ°æ) Washington College of Law (WCL).

Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream’s mission is to provide free immigration legal services to undocumented and other immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities in the DC metropolitan area. Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream may also provide free immigration legal services to family members of currently enrolled students.

Thanks to a generous gift from Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and WCL alum William I. Jacobs, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream is now a reality. Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream firmly believes that all students can thrive in college when they feel safe and can access opportunities and resources. Our legal services address one barrier to higher education – insecure immigration status – and, with the help of our partners and allies, we address students’ other needs through referrals.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dream continues to provide legal services remotely. Please contact us at audream@wcl.american.edu.
