After close collaboration with the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, the provost search committee’s composition reflects a focus on shared governance. Search committee members were nominated by governance groups for faculty, staff, and students. Tenure and term faculty were nominated through a process led by the Faculty Senate, while represented and administrative staff were nominated by union representatives and Staff Council. Students were nominated by the Undergraduate Student Senate, Graduate Leadership Council, and Student Bar Association. The provost search committee will work closely with search firm Isaacson, Miller.Â
