 Grier is an interdisciplinary scholar with experience across private, government, and non-profit sectors. She spent two years at the Federal Trade Commission as part of a presidentially mandated team examining the impact of targeted marketing on youth. Her research has been published in leading journals across marketing, psychology, public health, and policy. She is also the co-founder of the Race in the Marketplace (RIM) Research Network, which advances understanding of race in market contexts.
