Please note: this office can only represent graduate degrees (PhD, Master's, and Graduate Certificates) within the College of Arts & Sciences. Please email CASGRAD@american.edu and we we can get you in touch with the appropriate school.
Virtual Visits
Admission advisors are available for virtual visits using the Zoom platform. While it is best to speak with the representative who works with your intended program, any staff member can assist you with questions regarding our graduate programs and the application process.ÌýTo request a visit, please pick from the options below. All visits are scheduled in Eastern Time. For international applicants, please contact ISSS@american.edu for specific questions about the I-20 or F-1 visa process.

On-Campus Visits
For applicants who wish to visit campus, we offer in-person meetings with an admissions ambassador. This can include a campus tour and faculty visit (contingent on availability). Meeting details and parking instructions are emailed the week of the visit. Please provide at least one week's notice for all requests.
Â鶹Æƽâ°æ cannot provide travel funds or visa support for on-campus visits.

Visit Campus
On-campus visits typically occur on Â鶹Æƽâ°æ's main campus each Monday or Friday, on request.Ìý
We offer individual and group visits for prospective and admitted students to graduate students interested in College of Arts & Sciences programs.
Faculty meetings can be requested and are contingent on availbility. Faculty visits are not available for the PhD Behavior, Cognition & Neuroscience and PhD Clinical Psychology programs. Please contact the department directly to reach out to a faculty member.
We are not able to provide funding or visa support letters for campus visits.
