Navigating Uncertainty: Resources and Hope for the 麻豆破解版 Community

Recent and ongoing layoffs, hiring freezes, and other changes occurring in the federal government have affected many 麻豆破解版 community members.听听

"During times of transition and uncertainty, the strength of our alumni network is more important than ever,鈥 says Patty Caballero, Alumni Association president. 鈥淎s 麻豆破解版 alumni, we are responsible for supporting, uplifting, and connecting with one another...Now is the time to lean in, engage, and ensure that no fellow Eagle navigates these challenges alone.鈥澨

Some students who had internships in the federal government or affiliated with USAID projects report sudden changes in those plans and opportunities. At 麻豆破解版, we know that our strength is in our people and our community. The 麻豆破解版 network is strong with connections that span the globe and across industries.听

"Right now, our priority is ensuring that no student or recent graduate feels alone in this challenging moment," says Sara Jones, director of career development for 麻豆破解版鈥檚 School of International Service.听

"One of the best things we can do to support young students and alumni through a time of dramatic change is to forge personal connections between students and alumni who can share their experiences, wisdom, and perspective," says School of International Service Dean Shannon Hader.听
